# Terms — PsychArch

> The terms for your PsychArch account and PsychArch Reader: your account, your content, sharing and expiry, and acceptable use.

Updated October 31, 2026

These terms apply to your use of your PsychArch account and PsychArch Reader.

## Your account

Use only an email address or Google account you are authorized to access. Your first successful email-code or Google sign-in creates an account. Both methods use the same account when they verify the same email address. Keep your passwords and verification codes private. If you choose Google sign-in, Google's applicable terms also apply.

## Your content

You retain any rights you hold in content you upload. Upload or share only content you have the right to use in that way, and respect other people's privacy and intellectual property rights. You give PsychArch permission to store, process, and display that content to provide Reader, including making it available through share links you create.

## Sharing and expiry

Your library is private unless you share an item. Anyone with a share link can read that item until you stop sharing, delete it, or it expires. Copies already downloaded by others cannot be recalled.

Reader is for temporary reading. Items expire after the period selected when they are uploaded. Keep a separate copy of anything you want to retain.

## Acceptable use

Do not use PsychArch for unlawful activity, access other people's accounts or private content without permission, bypass security controls, or disrupt the service. We may restrict accounts or application access to address abuse or protect the service.

## Access and availability

Administrators manage which applications are available to your account. You choose whether to connect an available application and can disconnect it from [your account](https://auth.psycharch.com/account/applications). Signing out does not disconnect applications.

The service may change as development continues and may be interrupted for maintenance or technical problems. You can stop using it at any time and [delete your account](https://auth.psycharch.com/account/delete).

## Privacy and contact

Our [Privacy notice](https://psycharch.com/privacy/) explains how we handle your information, including retention and the limits of deleting downloaded or offline copies. For questions about these terms, email [psycharch.com@gmail.com](mailto:psycharch.com@gmail.com).
